Surcharging pricing update

Jan 24, 2022 | English, Uncategorized

Following the initial surcharge test applied to plus-size (2XL – 5XL) Men’s Tshirts and Unisex Sweaters, we’re happy to confirm we haven’t seen any impact on buyer conversion rates.

Therefore we’ll be continuing with the next phase of our test rollout, and appling the 2XL – 5XL surcharge across all clothing products on

As before, we will be monitoring the imact of the test, and update acordingly.

We want to reiterate the point that SELLER PROFITS WILL REMAIN UNCHANGED, and that this test only impacts buyers purchasing plus-sized clothing.

Why are we making these changes?

Businesses have dealt with more change in the last two years than in the preceding two decades – and while that makes us more resilient, it also brings about new challenges.

The main challenge is how to remain competitive in the face of a rising cost of living. So here at Moteefe we’re trialling new ways of ensuring we remain competitive, while maintaining the same level of quality and service that you’ve come to expect from us.

In order for us to remain profitable – we need to offset rising print costs ($0.25 per print) and shipping (10 – 15% per shipment in USA and 5 – 10% in EU).
