On July 5, 1908, a West Virginia church sponsored an event explicitly in honor of fathers, in memory of the 362 men who had died in the December explosions at the Fairmont Coal Company mines. However, this was originally meant to be a one-time commemoration. The following year, Sonora Smart Dodd attempted to create an official equivalent to Mother’s Day for male parents. After reaching out to local businesses, churches and government officials for support of her idea, she came out successful and Father’s Day was created!

Father’s Day is celebrated all throughout the year which means you can scale your Father’s Day POD campaigns to different parts of the world depending on the time of year. Countries like Italy, Spain and Portugal celebrate it on March 19, while many other countries like the US, UK, Ireland and Canada celebrate it on the third Sunday in June. Add Father’s Day design ideas to your current lines
Use what you have. If you already have a few POD lines running, take those designs and alter them a bit to create a whole new line! Incorporate a few Father’s Day ideas for the big day.
