How to Increase Your Order Value with Shopping Cart Upsell

The upsell feature

Today I’m just leaving you with a quick reminder: make sure you are using our shopping cart up-sell feature!

You can select the shopping cart upsell on the page of the builder where you publish your campaign or alternatively, you can also find it by editing a live campaign.

If this feature is activated, when a buyer adds one of your products to their cart, they’ll be given the opportunity to add a second item at a discount. The upsell product and discount are both preselected by you!

If you are selling a T-shirt, try upselling a mug, a hoodie or a sweatshirt with a discount of 10%. If you’re selling a hoodie or a sweatshirt, try the mug or a T-shirt. It’s up to you!

A couple of days after it’s been active, review the sales numbers under your orders tab and see how many people are taking advantage of the feature.

If it’s not working as well as you’d hoped then try changing up the product that you are offering or giving a bigger discount as this really is a great way to increase average order value (AOV)!
